Hi! I’m Kate Shunney — newspaper editor, photographer, hiker and mom of two boys. I was lucky enough to grow up in Morgan County, exploring the woods and fields and waters of the Cacapon River. After college and work elsewhere, I returned to my home state of West Virginia. 20 years, a career and two kids later, I’m still exploring this state’s endless array of outdoor treasures .
